For the last few weeks my computer has been freezing when I check it in the morning, when I leave my pc on overnight which isn't much of an issue for me since it was generally working during the day without issues. But last night and today, windows isn't booting which it freezes when it loads (windows spinning icon when you select a partition etc). There is a 1 in 50 or more chance that it boots windows properly but might eventually freeze. Also freezes when loading usb bootables. I took out all drives and the issue still remains.

I've tried putting in my other computer’s windows drive in it which it boots 90% of the time but it does eventually freeze the computer and it has froze a couple times on booting. I've tried swapping ram, swapping cmos batteries, resetting bios, swapped gpus, unplugged the hdd psu cables, reseated cpu and applied new thermal paste, swapped psu and the only thing that worked was the replacing the 5950x which I'm currently using the 3900XT. I've done many many tests to see what was the issue and made sure it was the issue instead of one off discrepancies (Probs around 50 restarts). One thing I will say after testing the 5950x again after testing the 3900XT was it was booting more frequently but it still couldn't boot USB's (windows media tool) and it was freezing when restarting the pc. Not sure why it had more of a chance to boot at that stage but it's still very unstable.

I haven't overclocked the cpu much at all just using PBO and undervolting it with Fr33thy’s tut from a couple years ago, but that's pretty much it. I didn't want to go more into OC because of stability and durability reasons plus keeping in mind of warranty but I don’t think it was worth the hassle anyway.

But it’s still in warranty since I’ve had it for nearly exactly 2 years so I requested a replacement so hopefully that goes through because I really do want to keep the 5000s cpu so eventually I can benchmark my game with these 2 pc’s as well as my new upcoming pc build for when the 5000s gpus and whatever better cpu comes out.

You ever seen someone jump start a pc? Couldn’t be bothered moving the 2nd PC (left) all-in-one PSU to my main PC so I just criss cross the cables over. Who tf designs a non modular PSU like wtf cunt..

Not much to update of game dev or games since it’s been only a few days since my last blog but Payday 3 is pretty fun stealth but it’s a bit annoying at times because you really need to trail and error because guards can change their pattern after you open vaults etc. It’s still fun tho overall.

As far as game dev, I haven’t honestly done much since I’m fucking around with UE source so I can get real time invalid reference log errors in packaged builds but I don’t think they do invalids unfortunately. Other than that I’m dealing with these pc issues and trying to find an alternative storage solution for my stream videos. The reason for that is I got a youtube strike on one of my of my stream vods which is basically is the same shit as what twitch is doing, giving me bans for no actual proof, but my mate did mention rape in the first couple minutes so that was probs a dead giveaway for the TOS bot scan. It was only a week suspension but fkn annoying to deal with all this shit. But in conclusion I found Odesee which actually looks very decent; but the livestream aspect is very clunky and I don’t recommend it. Streaming on it has bad desync and skipping issues and it’s a big fuck around for handling vods because they have a instance type setup. When setting up a stream you have to make a brand new stream with no preset settings, stream, manually going through the "Replay" stream then publish it and having to create a another livestream when I want to stream again and fill out out all those details again with a new stream key. Like wtf… I’ve tried rumble as well but it does the same thing plus it’s ui is dogshit.

But upload quality of it is very nice. I uploaded one of my 3 hour streams and its only 1080p 10k bitrate and it looks like 1:1 with the quality. Doesn’t look like there’s any compression or anything. So I’ll be posting my stream vods on there for now on since every platform is going woke.

Oh and btw, I’m boycotting this next Rick and Morty season and don’t give a fuck what anyone says. Same with the next Witcher season. Without Justin Roiland and Henry Cavil, the show is soulless. And that’s not only the why I’m boycotting, the fact that they kicked them out for retarded reasons also.
